Sage4Support is a disabled woman owned and operated blog for better access to tools and information regarding service dogs. The blog is named after Sage, a washed service dog in training (SDit) and advocate for the service dog community. Follow her at @Sage4Support!

In recent years the misinformation regarding service dogs has grown. This blog aims to circumvent the misinformation by providing direct access to verified sources.

"I was previously training my dog, Sage, to be a service animal (as the Americans with Disabilities Act allows handlers to train their own assistance animals), though training a service dog from scratch proved to be difficult. Training an assistance animal for yourself can be very rewarding, but also very draining. I sought help from professional trainers, though they helped me understand that Sage was too anxious to be a service dog (me too, Sage!). Sage is now an emotional support animal and spends her time playing with her sister, Kopi the kitten."
